Frankenstein Hat Craft for Kids
Make an adorable Frankenstein hat with this easy Halloween craft for preschool and kindergarten! Use the printable template to create a fun wearable headband for classroom celebrations.

Materials
- Frankenstein hat printable template
- Green and black cardstock or construction paper
- Sentence Strip for headband
- Glue Stick
- Scissors
- Stapler
Instructions
- Print the Frankenstein hat template on cardstock or paper.
- Cut out the Frankenstein face and hair pieces along their outer edges.
- Attach the hair to the top of the green Frankenstein face using a glue stick. Secure the assembled Frankenstein piece to the front of a sentence strip or construction-paper band.
- Wrap the band around the child's head to measure the fit. Remove the band, staple the ends together, and cover any exposed staples with tape before wearing.
Notes
Teacher Tip: Prepare the paper strips ahead of time for younger students. Let children decorate their Frankenstein hats before assembly, and have an adult handle stapling.
