Celebrate Dr. Seuss Day with Free Cat in the Hat Activities

Dr. Seuss Day is coming up! Every year on March 2nd, we celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday with the same imagination, whimsy, and creativity that he has inspired for generations of readers. 

This year, celebrating Dr. Seuss Day is easier than ever! I’ve put together some fun printable Cat in the Hat activities you can use to encourage early literacy skills and fine motor practice at home and in the classroom. Celebrating Dr. Seuss Day with your students is a wonderful way to inspire them to fall in love with the character in his stories and the magical places books can take you while building a strong foundation for early literacy. Dr. Seuss’s books are filled with other practical lessons about friendship, growing up, and caring for others too.
