How to make a Pilgrim Craft

You may be wondering how do you make a pilgrim? My low prep, free pilgrim template takes all the guess work out for you.

Before you know it, you will be crafting pilgrim girls and boys in no time. Here’s the step by step guide to how you make a pilgrim craft for Thanksgiving.

Step One: Print

Click the link below to grab the free preschool pilgrim crafts for a low prep cut and paste Thanksgiving activity. Print the free pilgrim crafts on colored construction paper or use crayons to color it yourself.

We used traditional black and white for the clothing, but feel free to get creative and use whatever color you want. As for skin color, I find that this set of construction paper has plenty of options on different shades for your pilgrim craft.

Step Two: Cut

Grab your scissors because it’s now time to cut. As your preschoolers cut out each piece of their boy pilgrim or girl pilgrim they will be improving their fine motor skills, which is vital in this stage of development.

Step Three: Write and assemble

You’ll love that this pilgrim craft is not just festive, it’s another learning opportunity to practice names and handwriting this Autumn. Write the letters of your name on each block of the pilgrim’s body for an easy Fall name craft.
